A pet project of mine is to take macro photography of the garden we planted last fall.  So: 1.  buy flowers from Keukenhof:  check! 2.  plant flowers from Keukenhof:  check! 3.  buy macro lens:  check! 4.  wait for plants to bloom:  check! 5.  take pictures of blooms:  check! 6.  post to DA. Well, you'll be seeing them, hope you like flowers. :-)

I now am a proud owner of a real macro lens (I have a telephoto macro lens as well), which is something I've been very interested in.  I'll be posting some of that work soon, but this project is more for myself.  I do hope others like it, too. ;-) I was finally going through the rest of the work (again with the help of my hubby) to clean up my DA account but just got a "we think you're spam" message. *sigh*  Second time that's happened where I'm trying to catch up with everything and have been accused of being a spammer.  Argh.  Consider it progress hindered.

I am finally back.  For a long time I was certain I would just leave DA and host my photography on my own site.  I could see my work wasn't doing well at all, and I took it very personally (i.e., my work= worthless). I finally came out of my two year photo coma when my hubby got through to me that some of my photos were saved on his laptop (which had also crashed, but we still had its hard drive where my brother lost mine).  We now have our photos from Japan (our honeymoon) again, and I feel so much better.  I'll be uploading larger versions of some photos (mostly because I want to have extra extra backup for my photos now).
