In Stuttgart, Germany, we found a couple life size chess boards being played in a park. Of course we thought this was really neat, but I have no idea what category it would fall under! Right now it's Photography > Miscellaneous, anyone have any suggestions? Desaturated and slightly increased contrast for emphasis.

That is awesome!! When I was about six, I took a trip to visit Zimbabwe, Africa (where my mom was born, believe it or not) and there was a giant chessboard just like this! The pieces were almost as tall as I was. >.>

:lol: That IS awesome! You could have been one of the chess pieces. ;-) I'll have to add Zimbabwe to my places of must visit, do they play a lot of chess there?

I honestly can't say for certain. Although when I was there, I do remember a couple moving in for a game after we left.
